Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by market share and trading volume has officially announced its listing of Hamster Kombat tokens on its exchange and also an invitation of the Hamster project to the Binance launch pool.
Binance listing of the HMSTR token ends a long debate and speculation amongst African Web 3 enthusiasts on whether the Hamster Kombat Airdrop event will happen given the sheer size of the Hamster Kombat global community.
Aside from the announcement of the listing by Binance, the exchange also invited the Hamster Project to join its Binance launch pool allowing users to earn new HMSTR tokens by staking their BNB.
Binance announced the new development to its X community via its official X page which has about 13 million followers and the Tweet was collaborated by Hamster Kombat’s official X account.
Binance’s announcement confirmed the proposed listing while stating specific details about the arrangement by both parties.
“Fellow Binancians, Binance is excited to announce the 58th project on Binance Launchpool — Hamster Kombat (HMSTR), a crypto exchange CEO simulator P2E game built on the Telegram mini-app platform. The webpage is estimated to be available in 24 hours before the Launchpool starts. Users will be able to lock their BNB and FDUSD to receive HMSTR Airdrops over three days, with farming starting from 2024–09–23 00:00 (UTC).Listing, Binance will then list HMSTR at 2024–09–26 12:00 (UTC) and open trading with HMSTR/USDT, HMSTR/BNB, HMSTR/FDUSD, and HMSTR/TRY trading pairs. Hamster Kombat Airdrop Event
The Hamster Kombat Airdrop event slated for September 26 is touted as the largest airdrop in Crypto history given the size of its global community. The Hamster Global community according to the team is a massive 300 million players making the proposed airdrop a mammoth event.
The Hamster project is way ahead of other play-to-earn projects like Tapswap and Notcoin in terms of community and global players.
The project has a total supply of 100 billion tokens, and a significant number of the tokens would be allocated to the community during the airdrop event.
The size of the airdrop event by Hamster Kombat has raised concerns over the state of the TON blockchain which is also hosting other projects in the Telegram ecosystem.
The Hamster Airdrop event is scheduled for September 26 and other top crypto exchanges like Bybit and Bitget are set to list the token on the same day.
