The African Bitcoin Conference 2024 slated to be held on December 8 2024 in Nairobi Kenya is an avenue for the promotion of growth for African crypto developers and increased crypto adoption in Africa.
The 2024 edition of the conference in partnership with BTrust would be bringing together African crypto developers and stakeholders in a one-day event scheduled to be held at JW Marriot Hotel Nairobi Kenya.
Abubakar Nur Khalil, CEO of BTrust commenting on the conference stated that the African Bitcoin Conference ABC has made its mark as a gathering of stakeholders, professionals, entrepreneurs, developers, and pioneers in the African Bitcoin industry, contributing to an ecosystem that promotes Bitcoin education and efficient networking in the African space.
“Through ABC, Bitcoiners on the continent meet and collaborate with the broader Bitcoin ecosystem, further sharpening their knowledge and skills, and building solutions that prioritize the local African context.

The Conference, which will last for one day, aims to inspire developers in the continent, provide the latest technical information, and discuss the many opportunities that lie in the African crypto space for developers.
Participants of this year’s edition will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders, connect with like minds, and gain fresh insights on the Bitcoin Open Source development system.
Partnership with BTrust
Partner of the conference BTrust is a non-profit organization focused on decentralizing the development of Bitcoin Software.
Farida Nabourema, convener of the African Bitcoin Conference hailed the BTrust as the partner of this year’s edition. She stated that BTrust has shown commitment to empowering bitcoin developers across Africa.
Another major crypto event slated to be held in Africa this year is the Crypto Fest event held in Cape Town South Africa.
The event is to be held from the 10th to the 12th of October and is set to bring together crypto enthusiasts from over 120 countries.
