Several analysts have pointed out an important fundamental regarding investor activities around Bitcoin, the flagship crypto asset. The analysts pointed out that Bitcoin reserves on crypto exchanges have hit an all-time low indicating that Bitcoin investors were choosing to hold their BTC assets rather than sell. 

The level of BTC reserves in exchanges is an important indicator of the number of investors willing to sell their Bitcoin assets and a drop in the reserves suggests that investors are not looking to sell at the moment. 

The observation was pointed out by @theLordofentry a respected analyst in the industry who shared a chart describing the fall in Bitcoin reserve from a technical point of view.

Bitcoin reserves on exchanges have continued to decline, suggesting that investors are opting to hold rather than sell.” He Tweeted 

The analyst revealed that active addresses and transaction volume on the Bitcoin network remain high. This indicates sustained on-chain activity despite the price correction of the asset. 

Long-term holders vs Short Term Holders 

Prevailing Bitcoin investor behavior suggests that Long-term holders are stacking up on their BTC assets while short-term holders are looking to sell. 

Several analysts pointed out that long-term trends for Bitcoin remained positive based on the accumulation pattern of experienced investors and in addition to the fact that Bitcoin reserves on exchanges have seriously depleted. 

Bitcoin at the time of writing this report is exchanging hands for $62,813 with global crypto market capitalization down by over 1.6% in the last 24 hours. 

Bitcoin has failed to maintain its upward surge ever since it hit a new all-time high of $73,700 in March. 

Even though the flagship asset managed to climb back to the $65,000 level, several market conditions dragged the price below the $60,000 level.
