Gluwa Ceo

During the recent United Nations General Assembly organized by Nigeria’s Ministry of Culture, there was a side panel event titled, “Destination 2030: Nigeria Everywhere”. Speaking in the panel, Tae Oh, CEO Gluwa highlighted the potential of borderless finance for Nigeria.

Notably, Tae Oh emphasized the country’s prospects for a global presence through creative blockchain tech adoption. In addition, he remarked on how blockchain innovations would boost Nigeria’s creative industries.

As stated in a post on X, “The power of blockchain lies in its ability to break down barriers and empower creatives, no matter where they are. By bringing the Nigerian creative industry to the international market, we can help secure investments, promote cultural exchange, and provide new revenue streams for creators,” said Tae Oh.

Perspectives of the Gluwa CEO on Borderless Finance in Nigeria

While speaking at the panel, Tae Oh explained that by adopting blockchain tech, Nollywood, Nigeria’s movie industry, and other creative sectors could receive tokenized investments. With such a “borderless finance” system, global investors could participate seamlessly.

Notedly, this would help to support young, emerging talents and creators. Also, it would help propagate Nigeria’s unique culture, tradition, and identity globally, by leveraging the entertainment industry.

Interestingly, Tae Oh’s contribution to the panel at the event emphasizes Gluwa’s vision to solve global issues using blockchain technology.
