Poloniex exchange is set to list the popular pan-African memecoin, Afrotoken ($AFRO), on October 29th. Notably, this is $AFRO’s first centralized exchange (CEX) listing and several communities on X are agog with the news having a general bullish sentiment.

As stated by Web3 Coins in a post on X, “We have been following this community on Sunpump closely and noticed it’s solid and highly engaging physically. They have announced their first listing with Poloniex. SUPER BULLISH,” said the platform.

Notably, this is a landmark achievement for this pan-African memecoin and combined with investor sentiment, $AFRO’s value could shoot up come October 29th.

In a message to the X community, the $AFRO founder shared the exciting news with the memecoin holders while highlighting the need for a CEX listing for the coin.

“15% of crypto traders deal in DEXs (decentralized exchanges), so opening up on a CEX exposes us to 85%, more of the crypto market. So, it’s a very exciting time of our price development journey,” said the founder.
